This guitar rules! Great guitar in stunning condition from the famous Japanese Matsumoku factory!
This guitar has got it going on. As an instrument, thereβs nothing more I could ask for it to be. Beautiful tone, super fast and low action, neck is straight as an arrow, great fretwork and intonation, and it plays like absolute butter. Itβs getting close to 40 years old, but it seriously looks brand new! It was obviously never played itβs whole life so far. I love those tandem stripes down the back, thatβs kind of unique and not something you see too often. Beautiful woods all the way around, looks like mahogany back and sides with a beautiful spruce top. I love the rosette of this guitar! Super attractive and eye catching design.
The Matsumoku factory in Japan put out some fantastic guitars, and Aria was one of their house brands. The quality and type of guitars that the factory put out was completely all over the spectrum, some of them could err on the side of style rather that actual good geometric guitar design with weird angular guitars that looked cool but were kind of unplayable. When it came down to it, they totally had it in them to make a super great guitar that checked every box of what makes a good instrument, and thatβs ultimately what matters. This guitar is a straightforward great classical guitar with a ton of songs in it, it has an old soul but itβs in almost brand new condition. The pictures totally speak for themselves, even the clear coat is vibrant and lively from having never been outside the case. Super fantastic instrument!
