Fender Status Quo Francis Rossi Signature Telecaster. Japan 2003. Satin Trans Green. Super Rare!+H/C

There has only been one official Fender Francis Rossi Signature Telecaster ever produced, the TL62-SQFR and this is one of them. Only available in 2003, in very small numbers, this is one of the rarest of all Fender signature models and as such, an original and genuine example like this, is very seldom seen on the international market. Construction is a three piece Ash body, that has a trans green satin top, with satin black, back and sides and of course the famous hole! The Maple neck is a very comfortable 60s, slightly chunky, oval profile that is topped by a separate, 21 vintage fret, Maple board, with black dot markers. The guitar retains all of it's original equipment, from the Kluson style machines down to the, excellent, string thru, split vintage bridge. The original set of 8.5k Lace Sensor style single coils sound superb, crisp and punchy with bags of character and weighing in at 8lb the guitar feels and sounds wonderful.
Condition wise I would describe the guitar as very good indeed, despite it showing a fair amount of light patina. All the electronics and hardware are in full working order and the frets and fretboard are excellent, having recently had a full dress and polish. Cosmetically, there is generalised light wear. This includes pick scratches, lots of tiny soft dints including some to the back of the neck and the front of the body. Light scratches, small scuffs and minor dents, mainly to the back and edges, but only a couple of 5mm actual paint chips and lastly, just some minor tarnishing to the hardware. Obviously these things need disclosing, but the reality is, there is no serious damage or any structural issues and the cosmetic blemishes add massively to the vibe of the guitar, which after all, is a representation of a road worn warrior. Set up and playing beautifully, the guitar is brilliant. Complete with an excellent hardcase, this is a great original example, of an incredibly rare model.
