Randall Diavlo RD5H 5-Watt Guitar Amplifier Head

The Randall Diavlo RD5H delivers 5-Watts of all tube power (12AX7/6V6) packing quite the punch in this little amp. The RD5H is a single channel amplifier with Gain, Tone, and Master Volume controls for precise tonal shaping. The RD5H also features a 3-way Midrange frequency variance switch called the ToneStackShift. The left position of the ToneStackShift gives your mid range a nice boost with flat bass response and rolled off highs which is ideal for smooth burning lead tones. The center position of the ToneStackShift is the "stock" position provides an even bass, mid and treble response which is great for rock and finally the right position scoops out the midrange and boosts your bass and treble response which is perfect for heavy music such as metal.

The speaker emulated XLR direct output with ground lift makes this amplifier adaptable to any situation whether you're out gigging or recording in the studio. When the signal is fed post effects loop from the preamp, this signal is then sent through the speaker emulator which simulates the response and sound of the mic'd up Randall 4x12'' Cabinet which is ideal for live performances. This function also comes in handy if you're planning on hooking this amp up to directly into  a PA System, allowing you to engage the Silent Mode.
