KLH Model 32 1966-1972 Walnut

This is a set of KLH Model 32 acoustic suspension speakers, one of the less common KLH models! These have been fully checked out, crossover capacitor replaced, main woofer cloth surround redoped, and cabinets resealed. These retain the original screw terminals, but include a set of gold banana plug adapters.

So, while these may look a bit like ugly ducklings, these things jam! Tons of midrange, highs that aren't in your face, and bass that pops! These are fantastic for small to medium rooms, you'll shock people with the sound that comes out. Would highly recommend mixing these with a warm tube or cap coupled amplifier. They can handle low and medium powered amplifiers great, with the sweet spot being about 15-20w on a tube amp and 20-35w of warm solid state. The drivers themselves are in excellent shape with no rub and seal fantastically. I had them in my kitchen, then my bedroom. They did fantastic in both spots. I've driven them with a variety of amps and really enjoy the tone. I was saving them to use for rears in a quad setup, but I've sort of lost my interest in quads.

There are two cosmetic blimishes, a stain on one grill cloth, plus a small wear spot in the stain on one corner. The wood veneer is intact however. I'd grade them quite well for KLH speakers of this age.

These would absolute rock any apartment or smaller living room! I am a big fan of smaller KLH designs.
