Fernandes Monterey LSA-65 1990s Flame Maple Red

Rare Fernandez Monterey LSA-65. Hybrid acoustic and electric or both at the same time, with a stacked/rails bridge humbucker and active piezo ust pickup. 9 volt battery for the piezo. The neck and the frets show very little use.  Action is low and nice for playability, Clean no dings or scratches. Dark mark on the back is actually a knot in the wood, it's completely solid and smooth under the finish. Please note: The original wooden tailpiece (not the bridge) broke off and despite searching high & low, as well as contacting Fernandes directly, I never was able to find an original replacement. A luthier recommended a Les Paul style tailpiece and I had him install one. It works perfectly and looks great, matching the original gold hardware on the guitar. My price reflects this modification.

This guitar plays beautifully. I ran it through an a/b/y box, with one line going to my amp, the other going to the PA. This way I could switch back and forth between the bridge pickup (using the amp) and the piezo (using the PA for a fantastic, big acoustic sound) or both at the same time with is a HUGE sound. The bridge humbucker sounds great, exactly like a quality bridge HH should.
