Very clean sounding amp with a very warm and smooth tone. I was told this is a 1964 with the rare 7355 Tube Chart -Not sure what the tube chart means but apparently it’s very rare and collectible. This amp has been played over the years and it still sounds amazing. One of the best sounding amps I’ve ever heard which is why I bought it on the spot. It may look old but the sound is truly amazing. Very rich full lows and sparkling clear mellow highs. The tone is super smooth and for an old amp the amp is very quiet and great for recording. Amp is almost completely original and dates to June of 1964. This isn’t a Frankenstein parts amp, the important parts on this amp like the AB763 circuit and the transformers and reverb tank and the electronics are all original. The speakers have been upgraded from the Fender Oxfords (listed in separate listing) (sold but they were blown) so Upgraded to 2 Celestion 50 watt G12 speakers which is what a fantastic fender amp tech recommended I put in it and he was right as they sound great. Great recording or professional touring grade amp. Sounds absolutely beautiful. The grill cloth could use a cleaning as it has some discoloration. The fender amp tech that recently serviced it said this amp was “very clean” and a barn find because it has remained almost entirely original. Has been cleaned up by licensed Fender amp tech. This is an original Fender pre-cbs 1964 Twin Reverb which is extremely rare and the holy grail of amps to a lot of players. Most of the blackface reverbs listed for sale are post cbs which is 1965 or if they are early they don’t have the original capacitors or the original transformers or reverb tank. This is the real deal at a fair price. For its age and having owned several vintage amps I would list this as excellent condition especially for the fact it sounds incredible and has the original components and is super quiet as in no unwanted noises just pure amazing guitar tones coming through. 

The speaker wire harness was renewed with licensed fender twin speaker harness as the old wire was noisy. Also, the negative bias resistor and the 2 prong plug was changed to a 3 prong plug but this does not effect the tone at all and the plug was changed for grounding safety.

This is truly a beautiful sounding amp. This amp has an amazing vintage twin sound and the reverb is incredible. Does not sound like the ear piercing modern twins with the cheap reverb and stale modern parts. This amp sounds incredible as a pre cbs 1964 Fender Twin Reverb should and is a completely different animal than the reissues or even any newer fender custom shop amp. The pre cbs blackface fender amps are the best sounding amps and many professional guitarists agree -Tried and true. If you’re looking for real tone then the pre cbs black face fender amps are where it’s at. The amp is in great shape and very quiet for an old amp. Amazing tone machine. Studio worthy amp. I describe all my gear as they are and price them according to how much I need them in my line up of gigs and recording. Will not be disappointed with an original AB763 Circuit 1964 Fender Twin Reverb with original transformers and reverb tank and original circuit. (The vintage fender speakers that came with it when I bought it are listed in a separate listing). 
Price is firm. I love this amp and play it a lot so will be hard to let it go.
