This listing is for a vintage 1960’s Audio Guild Corp Amplifier that I’m not quite sure which brand it originally was.. but it probably was a Panaramic, Bonham, universal or one of the other brands that basically were the same amps with different labels.
This one has extra input jacks for many options such as a middle input Jack that has a switch to change between the two channels. This amp is very clean and clean sounding as well. Great for bass as well, for recording etc. breaks up great with a guitar at louder volumes. Output is probably around 15-18 watts through a 12” speaker.. Utah Speaker, possibly?
The reverb works great, it has push pull volume controls that boost the treble when pulled out. Has the famous Magnatone vibrato circuit that was designed by the owner of this company, who used to work for Magnatone before leaving to start his own amplifier business. The guy I bought it off of said the vibrato worked but I haven’t heard it yet, I don’t have a foot switch with a quarter inch Jack to test it out..so I’m just going to sell it as “unknown if vibrato working” and price it a bit lower than I normally would to leave room for repair costs if it needs it.
The amp uses four 7591 power tubes and looks as though they are original RCA’s. Fantastic sounding amp. Hate to let it go but I need to pay off other things...a typical musician issue that I’m sure many of you are familiar with.
Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions!
