Awesome playing and sounding boutique parlor from master luthier David Flammang. Adirondack spruce top, Honduran mahogany back, sides and neck. Ebony faceplate, fingerboard and bridge. Slotted peg head. 1 3/4” nut width. 24.75” scale length. Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. Bone nut and saddle. Checkered top purfling and rosette. Ivoroid binding around body, neck and peghead.
Please see YouTube clip below from original purchase. Video is of this EXACT guitar.
This guitar has aged wonderfully. Adirondack spruce always needs some years to settle in. And the top has turned a nice golden color since it’s pale look when new.
Condition is excellent with a couple of very minor marks near the sound hole mainly because there is no pickguard. Obviously one could be added, but I like the sans pickguard look on parlor guitars. There is a ding on the peg head near the low E string post. Please see close up photo. There is also some case rub that has bled into the ivoroid binding and on the top edges in certain spots. The case lining is black. Please see last three photos for close ups of these cosmetic issues.
Original owner. This guitar hasn’t seem much playtime recently as I’ve gotten into electrics. It needs a new owner and parlor! Great low action without buzzing. OHSC (Cedar Creek) also in excellent condition.
New price then and now, about $4800
