** LAST DAY - Getting Part Ex'd today - so will take full price or a big offer to get the guitar **
Iconic late 1984 / early 1985 'D Plate' Kramer Baretta w. classic Banana headstock in the rarer black - very few of these in the UK (this one came into the uk Feb 1985 so likely to have been built in '84 - same year as that classic Van Halen album).
This is in great condition - very few marks to the body, just some worn paint on the classic Kramer tilted banana / hockey stick headstock. Pickup is an original Schaller Golden 50 Reverse Zebra + black Schaller tuners and the iconic black German Floyd Rose - they say the early Floyds are the best.
This has a heavy amazing sounding maple body - pics show this scarf joint is rock solid and the aged rosewood fretboard really sings. This has an FU Tones brass block (original block included) plus new noiseless springs - so playing at its optimum for a 36 year old vintage guitar. The wood has aged, dried and sings, just like the best vintage instruments.
Price reflects this - you won't find a better Kramer in the UK. These guitars are incredibly rare and ever more desirable since Ed's passing with people now waking up to just how amazing the instruments are. Prices are rising and those that have these guitars rarely want to part with them. I have two of these (lucky me) so I'm selling to fund another instrument I've paid way too much for !
Note - comes with a non-Kramer case (very solid touring case that has served this guitar well for 36 years). The case in the pic is for my other Baretta.
Shipping to USA I've had enquires and interest from the USA - so have added shipping costs, although best to chat and and get a more specific quote for any US buyers just in case where you are based influences the figure. I'd use a carrier like UPS.
