[5m] Premium Cable for "Townsend Labs Sphere L22" (MOGAMI & Neutrik)

Hey fellow Townsend Labs Sphere L22 user

I am a great fan of what the Sphere L22 is capable of and the premier sound quality it provides my recordings with. - What a great tool!

The cable it comes with on the other hand... - To be honest, I didn't even bother plugging it in even once.
Snobbish thing to say? - Well, I just didn't trust the connectors to be reliable in a long term scenario and i am not sure about the cable itself either.

In my studio I solely use cables of very decent quality and it does not really matter if you can "hear cables" but a well made cable from well made components is just going to work beyond any reasonable doubt for many many years to come.

I have been making my own cables for years now and I only use Neutrik connectors and cables from Mogami or Sommer Cable.

Here I am selling a worthy upgrade for your Townsend Sphere L22 microphone just as I am using it for my own Sphere.

These are the components:

1x Neutrik NC5 FXX-B XLR-female connector

2x Neutrik NC3 MXX-B XLR-male connector

5 meters Mogami 3106 stereo microphone cable

This is how you plug it in:

The 5-pin end goes into the microphone.
The 3-pin end with the BLACK ring goes to the preamp that you want the FRONT (0°) go to.
The 3-pin end with the GREEN ring goes to the preamp that you want the BACK (180°) go to.

This is the pinout (as stated on the Townsend Labs website:

5-pin: (1) ground / (2) front + / (3) front - / (4) back + / (5) back - .
3-pin: (1) ground / (2) + / (3) - .

The cables are tested for the right pinout, no unwanted connections and 0 Ohm resistance on my DMM.

And guess what: The double cable end fits through the end of the connector without cutting it or anything. So it is a professional cable by function ans looks.

I am selling three of these cables in different lengths and the plan is to earn back the material costs for my own cable - and that's how I priced these cables.
