This amp is a reasonable facsimile of a Marshall 18 Watt guitar amp. The circuitry is derived from the popular 18 Watt forum and is commonly referred to as an 18 Watt Lite IIB. I've added a master volume, so you can maintain plenty of preamp grunge at low volume level.
This amp started started life as a Hammond organ amp model AO-39. I usually gut these and save only the chassis, power transformer and output transformer. In this particular case I replaced the original output transformer, which was 4 ohms only, with a new multi-tap transformer. The new TF provides 3 impedance options, so any speaker cabinet you may have will match up fine. The chassis has been painted with a nice bronze hammertone (of course) paint.
