The hand-wired Dream Solo Model 3 tube guitar combo amp from 3rd Power was inspired by the '59 AC15/30. An EF86 preamp tube delivers chime and growl and a pair of 6V6 output tubes replace the typical EL84 tubes. The 6V6 does a fantastic job of delivering British AC flavors with 3rd Power's Mastered Tone approach.

The DS3 allows guitarists to achieve Normal Channel voicings and beyond by way of a three-position Brilliance switch. In the Off position, the sound produced is wide and full of depth. Position 1 eases back on the low frequencies and allows the euphonious mid range to bloom. Position 2 takes you right into Beatles or U2 territory with top-end chime for days.

With the DS3 you can tailor your high-frequency response to suit your needs by way of the preamp anchored Top Cut control and a power amp anchored Global Presence control.
