A very nice vintage Kawai/Mayfair Fender Jazz Bass Copy with a 32 Inch Scale and an original chipboard case, offered for sale here. The Kawai/Mayfair Fender Jazz Bass Copy is in overall excellent condition, with very light wear and a few small dings on the edge of the body. It is very clean and bright for its age and looks like it may have not been played very much(the flash from the digital camera sometimes brings out marks that are not visible to the naked eye). The neck is straight and it is a pretty fast and slender neck, quite comfortable to play
unlike some of the 1960's Japanese guitars and basses you find. There is a truss rod as seen in the photos and it works, I adjusted the neck in getting the bass to play comfortably. The pickups sound great in full treble and full bass mode with strong output and punch. (I'll attempt to post a You Tube video in the next 36 hours, bear with me). The original chipboard case
is included in the sale and it is in very good condition. This is a great sounding bass that is in excellent condition for its age.
The pictures pretty much tell the story, if you have any questions pertaining to the bass, feel free to ask them.
I have described this bass
and its condition accurately and am selling it as is with no returns and am selling it as is with no returns due to its age and vintage condition.
