This soprano Maccaferri Islander is all original, fluorocarbon strings that sound great, no major cracks or scratches, original friction tuners, etc etc.
There are a few noticeable marks: what looks like maybe a small crack on the top by the waist and some crazing in the finish on the back. As far as I can tell, neither of these are major--I've had this thing tuned up for over 5 years, and the top crack on the top doesn't seem to have changed a bit!
Otherwise, it's alright. It seems to play ok and tone-wise, sounds like a nice little uke. Of course, it's plastic, so you don't have to worry about like you would a modern uke.
I'm selling 3 of these vintage Maccaferri Islander ukes.
I'm happy to sell all of these at once--we can talk about a price if you want more than one!
