This is a 1960's Intermark of Japan Cipher bass guitar. These are rare basses that don't come up for sale often. This one is not perfect but works and plays great. It has a few missing parts like the bridge cover, and the partial control plate that sits on top of the celluloid guard. The pots have been upgraded to CTS minis and the input jack has been replaced to a Switchcraft. The bridge pickup is dead and needs rewinding ( it's worth it since it has quality materials and Alnico magnets). The neck pickup works great. These bases never came with pickup selector switches or separate controls for the pickups so your probably not missing a whole lot tone wise by just using the neck pickup only. The neck is great on it and it's a medium (32") scale. Overall a great deal on a 1960's Bass guitar. Don't pass it up. Please email me any questions. Thanks for looking.
