The Roland MCR-8 is a MIDI control unit. In a compact, well-laid-out package it offers 61 controls (9 linear sliders, 42 pushbuttons, and 10 rotary controllers) that can be configured to send MIDI controller messages, MIDI program change messages, MIDI note on/off messages, and MIDI system exclusive messages, all in real time. It can also merge these messages with MIDI data either patched to its MIDI IN jack or coming from a computer attached to the computer connector.
I am the original owner and I have all the original parts except the box it came in. Specifically, this MCR-8 comes with the 75-page Owner's Manual, a set of overlays to label the controls for specific modes, and the original power supply (see photos).
