The secret to the Streamliner’s sound is a new offering from Gretsch—the Broad’Tron™ BT-2S humbucking pickup. Heavily influenced by the timeless tones of TV Jones pickups, the BT-2S humbuckers were designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection, the high-output Broad’Tron pickup spawns improved definition with a tighter bass response for robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange. This sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout—neck and bridge pickup volume control, a master tone control, master volume control, and three-way pickup switching.

A 12”  and 22 frets on the laurel fingerboard allows for incredible playability. With elegant Pearloid Hump Block inlays and a bound fingerboard, the look of the neck is top-notch. Nato is the wood selected for the neck and it is shaped to a thin “U”-shaped profile. This neck is ideal for chord work or firing off speedy riffs.
