I am able to hand deliver this Guitar to you in any airport that Southwest Airlines flys to in the USA (Hawaii, no problem), provided Reverb will allow this and both the Buyer and Seller are protected. If you are interested in playing this before you purchase, please message me and I will do my best to accommodate you. Don’t let this one get away!

Questions that I have been asked.

1. It is Original finish on the guitar

2. Neck is straight, no buzzing

3. No issues with the electronics

4. I never did take the pickups out so I don’t have photos of the backs of the pickups

5. I do know the history of the guitar. I bought it from Guitar Center in Las Vegas when a friend of mine was managing the store. A younger man brought the guitar into the store to sell it. It was his father‘s guitar and the man had passed, and the son did not play guitar so he sold it for the cash. I’m not sure exactly how many years the Guitar was in Las Vegas.

6. No fret buzz last time it was inspected and played (October 2023)

7. It was professionally set up about 10 years ago.

8. I do not have the original case key

9. No original paperwork or hang tags is with the guitar

It would be best if you could play the guitar first. For a guitar of this age and price, I want you to be 100% satisfied with it. I do plan on doing a black light video and posting it so you can see the wood grain and structure and also see there isn’t any hidden damage. Feel free to text message me here on Reverb to schedule an appointment with me to play this Guitar!

Product Overview
While made during one of the company's most controversial eras when many players saw a sacrifice of quality for profit margins, the Gibson Les Paul Customs of the Norlin Era can be diamond-in-the-rough finds for players with a keen eye. In particular, if you're looking for iconic LP growl with the workhorse construction that made these guitars a legend in the first place, many guitarists and luthiers alike point to the late '70s/early '80s models as capstones of the era.
