About This Listing

Here we have a Shine SI-802 Vintage Style Electric Guitar with Wigsby Tremolo. This guitar gives you a real vintage experience whilst maintaining a modern feel. Shine produces quality guitars at affordable prices and this one is a testament to that.

This guitar has a 24.75 inch scale with a 1.7inch nut width. The body is made from Basswood with a translucent amber quilted Maple top. The Maple neck corresponds approximately to a “Modern C” shape with a Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.

This vintage style, amber wonder is fitted with a humbucker in the bridge and two single coil pickups in the middle and neck position. This gives you the same versatility as with other SSS type guitars but offers you more power and bite when the bridge pickup is engaged. This gives you some seriously bright, biting tones to play with when really pushing the guitar on an overdriven setting. This guitar is also equipped with the Wilkinson Wigsby Tremolo system which allows you to adjust the pitch of each note you play. This is a really nice touch to this affordable vintage style guitar and is a very reliable piece of hardware.

Aesthetic Condition

Headstock- The headstock has some light markings on the face of it, in the form of some scratching and some chipping to the top rear edge.

Neck- In very good condition. The neck provides a smooth playing surface with some residue from where stickers used to be from the factory near the headstock/neck joint.

Body- The body has a small indent 9cm to the left on the strap button on the front edge. There is some light playing wear on the rear of the body mainly focusing around the area in the contour section, there is an indent to the right of the contour which is noticeable but not major.

Condition of Frets

No or little Indentation - Very Light playing wear

Current Set Up

Truss Rod & Bridge- Fully Functional and can be adjusted

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- 1.5mm each side

Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

Tremolo System- Fully functional and in good condition

Notes on Set Up

The setup is adjustable to preference by the new owner.

Strings on Guitar- 9 - 42

Electrics

Electrics are in full working order

Further Notes

The guitar is in good condition overall. It has been played and well used by the previous owner but clearly well looked after. There is an indent on the front edge of the body which is noticeable but maybe difficult to capture in the pictures and same on the rear just to the right of the contour. There is some playing wear on the rear of the body just showing some scratch marks but these are not significant. It plays well with a fully adjustable setup. The trem system has some light tarnishing marks and is fully functional.
