The Fiddler's Bow
A few weeks ago, I had the great fortune to win one of Sweet Music's Fiddler's Bows. I've been working with it now for a few weeks and I'm loving it.
At first, I loved the responsiveness and agility which made playing faster tunes much easier for me. I'm still not all that fast, but my notes are clean and moving between strings is effortless.
But the more time I've had with it, I'm really starting to get the hang of pulling a full, rich tone with it. It's not just me -- I've gone back and tried the same tunes with my wood bow and my CodaBow Aspire -- and the tone I get from Adam's bow is significantly better. Though I won mine, it retails for about the same as the CodaBow Aspire -- and I think it's twice the bow.
