Hamer USA Newport 12 NOS 2008 Natural Birdseye maple

Wonderful example of rare extreme Birds Eye maple.
We got this new from Hamer USA in 2009 although the serial number indicates it is a 2008. Model was not listed in the 2009 catalogue although it was in the 2009 price list with a retail of $4200.00
Like new because it is. Never sold and played only when doing regular tune ups. A true New Old Stock. Set up is perfect. Everything works. Sounds phenomenal. Strings are original w/ some show of tarnish. Case has minor scuffs from moving around here and there. Will throw in an extra set of strings. (Strung like Rickenbacker w/ low string on top).
Semi-hollow double cut away body. Solid arched carved Birds Eye maple top w/ 2 F-holes. Solid carved maple back and three piece maple neck dovetailed into body. Rosewood fingerboard with real MOP dots. Single layered Ivoroid bound body,neck and headstock. 24 3/4" scale. Two Seymour Duncan 'Phat Cat' single coil pickups. 2 volume,1 tone, 3 way toggle. Tone Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge. Schaller Super Rotomatic Tuners. Weighs 7.8 lbs.
