Hi. I am selling it as a b-stock because it was a prototype. behind the body, as you can see in the photos and also behind the headstock there are holes that have been filled. behind the headstock the metal reinforcement bar has come out a little. as for the electronics there are piezos in the neck and under the bridge, and pickup in the body under the fingerboard with a passive system. this means that the volume is low, so you should put an active preamp system or even change the pickups for something better. the price as you see is low, but by working on it you can get a unique bass. if you are not convinced of the sound and aesthetics you can withdraw the offer or tell me, before I confirm it. or tell me you want it anyway. there is also some background hum and when the volume of the piezos is at zero the hum increases. I wanted to explain these things to you to avoid nasty surprises once the instrument gets to you.

This is a prototype, based on the stylized design of a double bass, with a modernized and ergonomic shape on the lower body. I put a full length fingerboard in order to emphasize the solo aspect of the bass. I have inserted piezo transducers under the bridge and inside the fingerboard, in correspondence with the main octaves. It is a handmade instrument, made without cnc, so you can find signs on the wood and grouting, but if you want an instrument with a unique design compared to the average and with a cool price this is the right gear. Maybe you can think of replacing the passive electronics and the cheap pickup with active electronics that also improve the sound of the piezos, or by putting higher quality pickups, or you want to have fun customizing or modifying it (see wishbass).
