 G&L Tribute Comanche! G&L's Tribute series instruments sound, play and feel about three times better than their price suggests. If you make a habit of comparing price points, you can stop, because there isn't much that can compete with G&L's low/mid-priced instruments. The Comanche is one of G&L's most radical and musical guitars. It's a classic S-style design, but in a smarter, more sonically adept package. Here's the kicker: This "mid-range" guitar has the same pickups as the American made version. We're not sure how G&L does it, but we're just happy we can offer a guitar like this at this price. The neck is very round and comfortable, perfect for fast leads, chords and big bends. Don't let the price fool you - this guitar could easily become your go-to gigging axe.

This G&L Tribute Comanche features a gloss black finish on a mahogany body. The medium C shape neck is maple, and it features a rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays. Electronically, this guitar packs G&L's infamous Z-coils. These American-made pickups have plenty of punch and bite, but they're a little tamer in the high end than you might expect. It's a perfect design for an S-style guitar: You get all the projection, clarity and punch you could want, but without the piercing treble, even from the bridge pickup. This axe also features the G&L PTB system. It's a knob that lets you control the bass response - plain, simple and hugely useful. The G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato bridge along with the 18:1 ratio tuning keys will keep everything locked down no matter how far you bend.
