David King Bass 4 - String D bass 2004? PPG DCU-2002

One of the most unique and stunning basses I have seen and played. We are selling this for a customer so we are not accepting trades. This bass plays AMAZING! The range of tones are almost endless. The Bartolini pickups have their characteristic punch and warmth. The almost invisible built in tuner is something that should be standard on all basses..... The instrument comes in a flight case from the builder. The bass does have several small finish dings but other than that it is rock solid in appearance and condition. Body woods: Claro walnut top, sassafras back and purpleheart rails.

Neckwoods: Wenge and purpleheart neck with macassar ebony fingerboard

Hardware: 6061-T6 alloy with black anodizing, tusque saddles.

Finish: PPG DCU-2002 over epoxy filler

Pickups and electronics: Bartolini triple coil in bridge, Bartolini dual coil soapbar in neck position. Bartolini 3 band eq with switchable mid frequency. Coil tap series, parallel, single coil switch for bridge pickup. Active / passive push pull volume pot. Wittman on-board tuner
