Boston Acoustics VR30 Lynnfield Speaker. Exceptional sounding speakers! Everything is working well. No grill covers and there are some cosmetic dings in the cabinets but these are a rare find worthy of putting into use. Made in the USA!
2.5-way tower speakers from the higher end Boston Acoustics Lynnfield line. These were produced from 1994 to around 1997 or so. Everything is in good working order and they sound great. The two 7" bass drivers play together for the low stuff, but the crossover lets one drop out above 800 Hz so they aren't competing in the midrange. Hence the 2.5 way moniker. The tweeter is a sweet 1" aluminum dome nestled between the woofers. The enclosures are ported on the rear.
This was the last line of speakers from Boston Acoustics that was designed and built completely in the USA, before they moved production overseas.
