Bagnasco & Casati D-28 Madagascar Rosewood/Italian Moon Spruce 2016

I've decided to finally list my 2016 Bagnasco and Casati D-28 Dread for sale. It has a Italian European "Moon" Spruce top, and a really nice set of Quartersawn Madagascar Rosewood on the back and sides. All hide glue construction, Forward braced like a 1937 D-28, and a Maple V neck reinforcement like a Banner J-45. It's a really strong sounding dreadnought, I've played it next to a genuine 1937 Martin D-28 and this guitar stayed right up there with it. It has a very chunky neck profile, personally my favorite neck profile of all guitars I've ever played, I actually had the neck shape copied on my 45 style Dread I had made by another builder. The nut Width is 1 23/32", kind of the size between 1 11/16" and 1 3/4". It has a K&K pickup installed, but I can removed it and install a StewMac Nojak if desired instead. It did have some hairline cracks on the back that were repaired before I bought it, with no finish touchup that I can tell. You can only tell where they were if you shine it in the light just right, very difficult to photograph. It also has some finish checking around the pickguard where the guard is lifting, but being under the finish I've never felt the need to try and resolve it. Has some fret wear, but no buzzes. The saddle is pretty low but it plays well, I had it checked by Custom Fretted Instruments in Sparta, TN and they said the neck angle and action is perfect for a prewar spec instrument. Has some general wear like most 5 year old instruments that have been played, so they're are a few dings, scratches, and finish checks here and there, but nothing major.
