HISTORY
The rarest variation of the beloved narrow panel Tweed Champ isn't actually covered in tweed! In late-1963 Fender made a very small number of Champs covered in their new black tolex, but with the same narrow panel cabinet and circuit as the tweed version. The result is a compact, adorable, and great sounding tube combo. Just perfect for practice and recording, and also very collectable.

CONDITION & ORIGINALITY
This little Champ is in very clean condition, obviously well cared for during its life. The cabinet & tolex are in fine shape and the control panel is clean with only a small amount of corrosion. Original speaker, original transformers, even the original RCA tubes, Some changed out capacitors and power cord, serviced by Michael Clark of Clark Amplification (original parts included).

RETURN POLICY:

I am always fair with my customers, of which none have ever been unhappy or wanted to return an instrument, But I do not want to leave my customers with a feeling that they would be stuck with something they just didn't like, especially for this amount of money. I also do not want to create an environment for people who would abuse the system to have a forum to buy a guitar and return it for full price like they were checking out a book at the library. So I have come up with a system that protects you from getting stuck with something you don't want and protects me from scamming customers (which is indeed the exception and not the norm- I have been lucky and sold guitars to many people over Ebay who are excellent people and would never take advantage or be dishonest in their intentions. There is a non-refundable 15% restocking fee for the return of this item. I the seller, may allow the buyer the option for a second chance to buy another guitar and this amount of the 15% restocking fee, may be applied toward the purchase of another instrument that I have for sale. This option is available at my discretion and is not automatic upon the buyer’s request. Guitars returned for a refund must qualify and must be approved by me upon undergoing a thorough look over for evidence of tampering or damage. Providing that the item is returned in the exact condition it was sold and shipped in, I will grant a money back refund minus the 15% restocking fee. Damage or tampering to the guitar as determined by me the seller, may result in denial for a refund and will be shipped back to the buyer, or may include additional charges, and is determined at the sole discretion of the seller. IN the event of a return, Damages incurred in shipping will not be the responsibility of the Seller and will be the responsibility of the buyer to initiate a claim with the shipping service. The Bidding or buying of this guitar is an act of agreement to these terms and is not negotiable.

I do all I can to accurately describe and depict the item with clear text and descent photographs, however all items are sold as is and returns will not be allowed except where an item shows up "dead on arrival" and it was not due to damage in transit. I cannot be responsible for losses or damage occurring in shipping (unless I was negligent in preparing the parcel, of course and that is just not going to happen).
