This is an old original Max Baranet Sunburst with real vintage 1959 parts. The plastic is mostly repro but the entire harness and switch/jack/tuners etc are 1959. There are no pickups installed which is why this wood is a steal. It is very rare to find a Max for sale at any price, especially sub-$15k. This is not a kit build. It was built entirely by Max himself with documentation including a handwritten note saying that this is one of his masterpieces. Please contact me with any questions. I am also selling my 1955 gold top conversion in another sale. Better offers accepted THIS week only! 2/2/17 through 2/12/17. After that period the need to sell is reduced and the price goes up.
