For 32 years since the brand debut, Moon has been producing high quality guitars in Japan at the PGM factory which also produces Custom-Shop quality Van Zandt guitars.
This guitar feels like a step up from most entry-mid level Strats. The build quality is awesome. The neck especially is smooth featuring a brilliant one-piece maple with a Madagascar rosewood fretboard. The OXALIS QP pickups sing. They produce vintage Strat tones with an added clarity that is almost reminiscent of a Jaguar.
This guitar has seen a bit of work. It had an aftermarket floyd installed, along with a floyd nut, but has since been brought back to life with a Fender-style vintage 6-screw bridge. The screw top locking tuners hold everything in place nicely.
Condition: Aftermarket floyd posts drilled into body, locking nut material addition. Small dings including one on the headstock.
Playability: Straight neck, some fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics.
