TRADES WELCOME - high end guitars, banjos and mandolins considered. Bluegrass style dreadnoughts preferred.

Gilchrist 17 archtop guitar in wonderful condition. Other than some typical Gilchrist finish checking the guitar is minty. Guitar was owned by David Grisman. These 17 inch guitars are very rare, according to the archive there were only 11 made and this is the last one. I have 2 old cases, a Lifton and a tweed prewar case, not sure the brand but buyer has choice. It comes with the factory Bartolini floating pickup with controls in the pickguard which can be removed with no holes in the guitar. This guitar is everything you’d expect from Steve Gilchrist.
