Extraordinarily rare Vega Style 307 "Cylinder-Back" MANDOLA; top of the line, highly ornate, wonderful player and stupendous rich tone. The large 11.5" wode two-point body is fully bound and top-trimmed w/ thick abalone, gorgeous blonde flamed maple construction of cylindrical back and sides, straight-grained and yellowed spruce top w/ inlaid pickguard adorned with inlaid pearl flowers; equipped with silver plated Waverly cloud tailpiece; play wear present on top around soundhole and pickguard. The one piece maple neck has a 14-3/4" scale length ebony fingerboard that features delicate pearl engraving; frets appear original and in good shape. Includes recent custom built Cedar Creek hard case.
