This guitar is from the golden age of Ibanez.  They had been making gorgeous copies of vintage instruments all through the 70's and 80's and now were starting to innovate on their own.  This model was only available from 84-85.  It was an acoustic guitar for electric players.  The neck is slim and fast, and the action is low. Plus, it has that extremely stylish 1980's pointy headstock.   This is before the era of the built in pick up on acoustics so it includes a Fishman soundhole pickup.

This is a great sounding guitar and an effortless player.  Top is spruce, back and sides are mahogany.  The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.  The workmanship is exquisite.  Very good condition, no bridge lifting, straight and true neck.  Frets, nut and bridge are in great shape. It does have some tiny chips in the finish as would be expected of a 35 year old instrument, but they are not all that noticeable.  More noticable in the photos than in person.  It is also in desperate need of a new set of strings. Never left the house for the past over 20 years.

I have included a youtube, not the greatest, of the LS300, which is the same model except without the cutaway.

These kinds of instruments with this quality tonewood are not coming around again. Especially not for this price.
