1968 Rickenbacker 360/12 Burgundyglo RARE Roger McGuinn Signed

This iconic guitar is signed by Roger McGuinn, famous member of The Byrds who popularized this model of guitar. Here is a great article from American Songwriter that discusses McGuinn's use of the Rickenbacker 360-12:

The Burgundyglo finish is extremely rare on the 360/12, we have not been able to find another guitar with this finish in our research anywhere on the internet, not even a single photo.

*PLEASE NOTE* Although we believe the signature is genuine we are not an expert on signatures and cannot make any guarantees to its authenticity.

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup tailored to your individual tuning and string gauge preferences, if available. Our setups always include action, intonation, trem angle, and truss rod adjustments.  If needed, we smooth out fret edges, address any nut or bridge shim issues, polish the frets, and condition the fingerboard.  All work is completed by our experienced tech team who understand what today's players want from their instruments. If not otherwise requested our techs will setup each instrument to a comfortable medium/low action with minimal truss rod relief dependent on the instrument style. Please reach out after purchase if you have any specific requests about your setup.

Our photos are professionally lit and edited to accurately represent the instrument's true colors. We never embellish, oversaturate or misrepresent our images. We understand that purchasing a guitar online can be difficult. That is why, unless otherwise noted, Ish Guitars always individually photographs and lists each instrument with painstaking precision so that you can be confident in your purchase.

We have detailed photos of the electronics, fretboard, under a blacklight, etc. but can not upload due to photo limits. Please message if you would you like to see the photos!

Weight: 7.7lbs

Case: Original Hardshell Case

Year: 1968

Cosmetic Condition: Very good.  The guitar has scratching and some dings throughout on the top, back , sides, and headstock.  There is a good amount of buckle rash on the back of the guitar as well as a small finish crack near the volute that is stable.  The hardware shows a bit of wear/tarnishing to be expected from an instrument from the 1960s.

Finish crack on back of neck base of headstock appears perfectly stable.

Set up low and comfortable to play good intonation everything functions properly (truss rod, saddles, etc).

Clear-coated over the signature on the back. It is NOT a finished crack. Clear coat could be peeled off at the line.

Bridge Pickup Impedance: 8.32K

Neck Pickup Impedance: 7.97K

Nut Width: Just shy of 1 11/16

12th Fret Width: 1.93"

Depth at Nut: .8425"

Depth at 12th: .855"

Fretboard Radius: 7.25" (however the ends of the fretboard are rolled quite deeply)

Truss Rod Action: single (two rods)

Fret Size/Shape: medium narrow width, short height

Neck Profile: slim comfortable neck

Pot Markings: (3279 or 31056) and 137.6808
