Heard of Navigator? ESP? Devisor? All of these Japanese brands are becoming more and more popular as they pump out their high quality gear.
But, what if I told you that there is a company in Japan that not even the Japanese are familiar with?
And that they make guitars to-order with some of Japan’s top master luthiers?
Well, this guitar is just that.
Built to order by PGM in Osaka during the early 2000s, this beast is speced out to the max.
These Les Paul models are especially rare and I have yet to see another one in the wild.
SPECS
Honduras Mahogany 1 piece back and neck
Long Tenon joint
Hard Rock Maple top
Brazilian Rosewood fretboard (pretty sure but cannot guarantee)
Throbak SLE 101 vintage PAF repro A2 pickups (worth close to $600 new)
Vintage Bumblebee caps w/ CTS pots
Very very thin Nitro finish in faded sunburst (you can feel the wood grain)
The condition is very clean for its age, with only a few minor dings.
I mean, what more could you ask for?
This guitar beats any CustomShop Gibson on paper any day.
It’s surely a steal for this price.
I’m only willing to let this one go as COVID-19 is hard on me and I need cash ASAP.
The guy I bought this beauty off of was a specialist in “bursts”.
He professionally compared and analyzed the “magic” of the bursts in his studio.
As he was satisfied with the results of his analysis, I was able to purchase this reference guitar from him.
According to him, this guitar is as close as you will get to a real burst.
Please note that I’m not responsible for any import duties/customs tax, delays, etc.
If you do not see shipping rates to your country, don’t hesitate to ask.
Will be sending via EMS, very soundly packed.
Thanks for considering!
Please check my other listings for gear exclusive to Japan.
