This pair of Cerwin Vega speakers is extremely rare. In Europe, this model was called the AT-100 which is identical to the North American AT-15 model. Serial numbers are 501036-46037,
501036-46118. Model number listed as CVAT100S.0215(2002).
They deliver the powerful sound that is the hallmark of Cerwin Vega speakers. The bass from the 15” woofers is very impressive. With a sensitivity of 102 dB, even a relatively low-power amplifier will deliver big sound. With a big amplifier …well …. 127 dB output is claimed in the specification (earplugs please). Note that the speaker impedance is 4 ohms therefore an amplifier capable of driving a 4 ohm load is required. Possibly the best sounding speaker ever made with the most headroom as the volume increases. Infinity Kappa and Klipsch can compete but not quite when you put 400 watts into 4 ohms on them.
Condition: All original drivers in great condition. The enclosures, and grills are intact with a dent to one of the mid-ranges, a variety of scratches to the enclosures, and visible wear to the corners especially at the bottom of the pedestals. I found another pair of these speakers that sold in Germany for 1,700€ and one of the woofers needed new foam. This pair of speakers is fully functional,
in proper working condition,
and extremely loud. You can tell from the specs that these are not toys:
