A Japanese control amp with phenomenal performance!

The Denon PRA-2000RG, released in Japan in 1990 during the “Golden Age” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a high-fidelity control amplifier of excellent quality. This amp follows the legacy of the phenomenal PRA-2000, which was a great seller in Japan decades back. As expected from Denon, the PRA-2000RG is a fantastically well-built amplifier, using high-grade internal components and a high-quality circuit design, with a number of features to reduce distortion and sonic coloration This amp features Denon's proprietary Inverted Sigma Balance circuit, newly developed to bring out the excellent characteristics of balanced transmission. By Denon's design, SNR is exceptional, while distortion is low. Overall, the PRA-2000RG is a wonderfully built and designed preamp, with exceptional sound.

This particular unit is in very good condition, with light natural signs of aging, including some scratches, scuffs and yellowing (please check photos). Further, it has been thoroughly tested and checked by our professional in-house technician, confirming its flawless working quality. Denon Japanese-made amps are known for their robust construction and use of the highest quality parts, so it's likely this unit will see many more years of use.
