Deegan Marimba from 1940s

If you are looking for a classic sound from Marimbas of the past, check this one out.  We hope this can be a great instrument for a music student or performer out there.

- 1943-1945 Deagan No 36 Marimba per 
- C to C Four Octaves
- All Original as best I can tell.
- Sounds wonderful and overall in very good shape.  Frame is solid, wheels roll fine, resonators are fine, keys are in very good shape.
- There are some minor imperfections which can be expected for an instrument of this age.  See pictures.  In particular, three resonators for the three highest keys on the upper keys took a hit being prior to our ownership.  Does not effect functionality and they resonate just fine so purely a cosmetic item.
- It has been kept in a temperature controlled environment for as long as we have had it which is several years.
- It breaks down easily and can be put in a mid-sized four door car.  Even easier in an SUV.
- Can ship but local pickup is best just because of the great shape it is in for something of this time period.  Shipping is a very loose estimate and would be negotiated at time of purchase.  We have not taken it apart yet to determine a more accurate shipping.  It does have some weight to it as it is a full 4 octave marimba!  

A LOT of fun to play but we just need space back in our place.  If you are looking for a classic marimba sound to perform with or just need a practice instrument, you will be pleased!
