Hi, this guitar is an original, lovely, spectacular, authentic museum grade Jimmy D'Aquisto hollow body guitar. That's what dreams are made of. Investment grade guitar for sure. 1982, it belongs to the last most important period of Jimmy's work when he started to experiment heavily with features and aesthetics. It is a sort of 175 a laminated 15.5" Jazz box with no F Holes for limiting feedback problems. Everything in this guitar is perfectly original, it comes with the copy of Jimmy's ledger which testifies that this guitar has been made in the same time frame of Jim Hall guitar. Signed and numbered (with date) inside the box by Jimmy himself. Ebony appointments hand carved by the master, modern ebony fretboard with no bindings. The neck is solid flame maple one piece. The switches are for phase out of phase and split of each humbucker. Plays amazingly. This guitar was in Rudy's shop once and I bought from a very well know broker in the US. It comes with the original case and with a custom case made specifically for this guitar of course, I had it made by Keith Calton (Calton cases) before the man sold the company. I will gladly answear to questions by Jazz guitar enthusiasts. I can send more detailed pics no problems. The guitar is in perfect conditions, played but very well taken care of, no cracks or problems whatsoever. The bindings have been stabilized in some points because they were cracking due to the particular resin Jimmy used almost 40 years ago. Now they super ok no problem. Local (I mean North Italy) pick up or shipping. If you are willing to pay the high rate shipping (and eventually the custom fees yiiiiiks) and you own the risk I can eventually ship it.  As for what shipping rates are concerned, I put high shipping rates here but it's all completely speculative. Contact me in advance please. Consider there are 2 cases, the original one (a sort of Gibson Fortress case and the Calton with which the guitar will travel). And you probably would want to make it travel with an Insurance, but you know, it will get costly. You decide.

IMPORTANT - The shipping is completely on your responsibility. The moment I give the guitar to the courier in perfect conditions, have it professionally packed by him, and send you the tracking number, that's when your responsibility kicks in. I will help if necessary, but I will not take responsibility if the guitar is lost, stolen or damaged by the courier. (Recently with another shipping with the best courier in the world (the one they did the Robinson Crusoe movie about), I spent weeks trying to figure out what they and the American Customs were doing to a perfect legitimate shipped guitar, so I don't want to try the experience again. At the end everything went well, but too much. Thank you for your understanding). Enjoy!
