Edit: Keeping it up. I've got someone to help me.
This is a one of a kind guitar. I've owned it for about 8 years. It was an SRV strat from the 2000's.
I ended up having it refinished in Mary Kaye (white blond) by Pat Wilkins replaced many of the cosmetics including the pickguard, the screws, the bridge, and the input jack (all from gold to chrome). Also the volume and tone knobs (from black to white). The neck plate is still the original gold. I also replaced the neck with a 2012 American Standard Neck. It is very nice and very comfortable. I was just sick of the vintage tuning heads. Unfortunately, I lost the original SRV neck in a storage unit fire, as well as the back plate. Each are replaceable but this does mean that I don't have the original serial number. All of the changes excluding the neck are purely cosmetic. So, it has the Texas specials and it sounds like an SRV strat.
This is a very unique guitar (primarily because of the upside down tremolo, which I happen to find more comfortable than the standard configuration). I'm only selling because I'm moving and need to downsize.
Sale will also include a tremolo arm, the original case, the original owner's manual, the tortoise shell pickguard, black pickup covers, black volume and tone knobs, and black selector switches which I was PLANNING to put on the guitar until I decided to sell it. Thanks for looking!
