ROTEL RDP 980 multi input DAC 1996 black

Excellent very rare multi input DAC from Rotel. The RDP 980 has four input channels and each has 4 coax and 4 optical for a total of 8 inputs There is a phase switch and the unit recognizes 32hz, 44.1hz and 48hz. There is also a record out. I used it in my studio for a CD player, CD recorder, DAT unit and Roku streaming unit. Saves plugging cables in and out. I bought two of these units and one was only used as a single channel DAC. The quality of the DAC is comparable to many units that are new today and cost much more. This unit was made in Japan, weighs 14 lbs. and was checked over by Modular Electronics here in Atlanta. Unit is in near perfect condition. I have a copy of the owners manual and there are excellent reviews to find on line. I have never seen another DAC with this versatility. The carton is a Rotel carton for a CD player but is the correct size. At my asking price I will include free shipping/insurance to Cont. us and Paypal fee.
