The left handed Takamine TC132SC is handcrafted in Takamine’s Pro-Series facility where high quality, precision instruments have been built for half a century. This handcrafted nylon string acoustic was designed to pay homage to traditional classical nylon string guitars and was designed following original drawings by legendary 19th century Spanish guitar luthier Antonio Torres, arguably the most important Classical guitar maker of the 19th century. The lefty TC132SC from Takamine features a solid Cedar top with solid Rosewood back and sides, and a soft Venetian cutaway, producing a warm, full tone with plenty of brilliance and plenty of projection. The natural gloss finish not only looks beautiful but it also enhances the durability of the guitar, while a dual action truss rod ensures that the guitar plays perfectly no matter what the environmental conditions may be. The left handed Takamine TC132SC features a Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard with the traditional 51mm (2”) fingerboard width that makes it feel both comfortable and familiar, especially for those who prefer nylon string guitars. The soft Venetian cutaway offers unfettered access to the treble register of the fretboard beyond the 14th fret where the body usually meets the neck. Modern touches like a dual channel CTP-3 Cool Tube™ preamp system make this traditional acoustic ready for the stage with a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, auxiliary input and volume control (for use when a second pickup is added), and an onboard tuner. The CTP-3 delivers a low-voltage tube tone that can be adjusted from bright and brilliant, to thick and warm, giving this classical acoustic a surprisingly modern sonic versatility. Features:
