About This Listing

1993 USA made Peavey Foundation Bass w/used Fender hard-shell case. 34" Scale Length.
I love this bass, but I don't need it. Let me start by saying this bass delivers a really big deep bass sound. It has a very slim and fast neck similar to a Fender Jazz bass. If you're a bass player you know this is good.
CONDITION: I listed this as VG because the solid Maple body has some dings and divots which I covered up with some touch up paint planning to refinish it sometime... I don't have time to refinish it, so examine the pictures to see how it looks to you. From the front, on stage say, it is quite presentable. You might want to refinish it and it wouldn't be difficult.  BEYOND that, let me say that the bass really has no other issues. It's not broken and shows no repairs other than the paint touch-up.  Frets show only the slightest wear, if any. Rock Maple Neck is true. Pickups work great and measure about 8K. It's been professionally set-up and plays like butter. Instrument is totally clean - no grim or dust.
Fits perfectly in a used Fender bass case that has two broken latches and a hole in the corner. The case stays closed but it's not the best protection. If you really want the bass but don't want the case that's fine too. PLEASE see the images and decide if this is for you. I have two Fender basses, a Dano longhorn and a Gibson EB3, but when I was playing bass years ago, this Peavey was my go-to bass. Nuff Said.
