One week only!
This is a modified Cort MBC-1 in red sparkle Matt Bellamy signature guitar.
This is basically a stock MBC-1 with modifications, so feel free to look up the stock model for general body properties and etc.
The neck pickup has been upgraded to a sustainiac single coil driver. The two switches seen near the volume and tone knobs are an on/off and mode switch for this pickup. I'm assuming if you're looking at this listing, you know what a sustainiac is.
The bridge pickup is a Manson MBK-2 pickup - the standard pickup in the MA2 Evo guitars and the pickup used in a number of Bellamy guitars. It's a hard hitting pickup with huge tone. I also tend to think the addition of these two pups makes the guitar look significantly better than the black pups originally in it that draw the eye away from the paint.
Both pickups were installed in the US by a reputable and authorized dealer. The battery (9V) for the sustainiac is in the large back cavity. It's tight in there, but it fits. This prevented cracking to the finish that routing another cavity may have caused.
The only cosmetic issue i can find on the guitar is a slight discoloration of the natural wood finish on the headstock (pictured), but that's really hunting for something wrong.
The guitar will come shipped in a gig bag, not in the case pictured (just a standard gig bad, not Manson branded or anything). It will also come with the high-quality Manson strap pictured in the images. The strap can be negotiated out of the deal and I can possibly consider shipping with the case for additional charges obviously (however, the case was not fitted for the guitar, so it's no perfect fit).
Feel free to message me with any questions. I can provide videos or additional photos to serious inquiries. This guitar plays killer, especially with the upgrades. It was not gigged with but is certainly ready to do that should you choose. You're getting a great guitar for half the cost of used Mansons on here with nearly similar spec, just not assembled in the Manson shop.
Thanks for looking!
