About This Listing

Reluctantly selling my last rare Proton Power D1200 amplifier. Amplifier is in great condition with minimal wear. Looks and works great. This amplifier is Incredibly designed and has protons famous dynamic power on demand. Which means in short burst this amp can put out near 600 w per channel at 8 ohms and 1.2 KW at 2 ohms. All bulbs replaced to leds. Crazy powerful for size.
Description found on the web:
The D1200 Power Amplifier was tested by Stereo Review. They proclaimed it to be "the loudest 100 watts they ever heard!" It is a dual mono construction amp meaning it has separate power supplies for each channel, left and right. The power is rated at 100 watts, but with the "Power On Demand" feature, this amp has 7.3db of headroom and can hit over 500 watts on short peaks into 8ohms! Signal noise is about 120db and the distortion is less than .02%
