This 1176 Blue Stripe is the Revision A, the revision right after the original which for some reason UA calls the AB. This was the first revision so not sure why UA calls it AB. Everett Watts at UREi (JBL) had been there almost 30 years, way before the new UA existed and states they don't call these "AB". The fets in the preamp stage and the location of a couple of caps confirms it is not a Rev. B.
The replaced Rev D tag shows up maybe 2-3 times on Rev A's. It was usually a Rev. A with the LN mod added that got a D number tag, but this one does not have the Low Noise mod. No one could ever come up w/ a logical reason why these tags were put on Rev A units.
The pcb is from the "A" group between serial numbers 125 to 216 roughly, and it has a replaced power transformer from UA.  Two of my Rev A units have this power transformer in them.  These units are all magical!
