Westinghouse
Westinghouse is based on the Night Owl Edison preamp and uses an EF86 pentode tube to get beautiful, rich cleans. The Level knob controls the output level and will stay clean through the whole sweep, letting you keep your tone just the way you want it with added warmth and volume.
The Volt switch controls the voltage level to the tube plate, going from 30V to 180V. At 30V the tone of the preamp is more subtle and transparent, whereas higher voltage has more color and warmth.
Westinghouse takes a standard 9V input, and can accept center negative or center positive inputs. It uses internal regulators to supply 6V to the tube heaters and 30-180V to the plates, giving it the richness you expect from a full high-voltage preamp. It comes in a 1590B enclosure.
