if your unit is in bad shape, you may need to have it serviced before you attempt to use this upgrade. only professional installation is warranted. if you accidentally mess it up by bending the pins or something similar, i cant accept a return. it works in my unit, but i also had mine professionally cleaned up and recaped. there was acid damage on my unit. it would not have worked had i not taken care of that first.
