The unique Ozark 4-string tenor resonator guitar has a superb nickel plated, engraved brass body. This tenor resonator guitar delivers a wide range of volume and tone to match its attractive looks, whether using original CGDA tuning or alternative tunings. Featuring a mahogany 12-fret neck and 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, this is an easy guitar to play and experiment with resonator sounds, whether playing unplugged or linking up to an amp for a bigger acoustic sound. It is fitted with a biscuit resonator cone and a single coil 'lipstick' style pickup with volume and tone controls. This is a versatile instrument suitable for blues or slide playing styles. The tenor guitar originally developed as a way for tenor banjo players to switch to guitar without having to learn how to play a six-string guitar.
