Vid added! This was with the master on about 1, the noise you hear when I roll down the volume knob is the AC in the room.
What we have here is an Egnater modded 100 watt JCM 800 from 1981. Very cool high gain mod in the high input while retaining a stock 800 sound in the low input (what would normally be the high input of a stock 800). Just recently had a cap job and Gold Lion KT77s installed. Amp screams but is so loud! Haha. Here's the stuff added from the mod (done in '98):
- Bright switch
- Mid switch (normal/cut/boost)
- Density knob (basically a resonance knob)
- Slave out
- 100/50 watt switch
- Series effects loop (tube driven)
Original iron still there and rocking. Included with this sale is a road case for excellent protection! Headshell is in excellent shape for being 40 years old.
