This is a Cort Triggs TRG-1 from the 90s. The model was designed by the master American luthier Jim Triggs, who ran the Gibson custom shop and knows a little about how to make a guitar.

The guitar is a slim hollowbody with a resonant, warm and woody sound, both acoustically and electrically. It is fitted with a Mighty Mite humbucker that is clear and expressive.

It plays like a much more expensive guitar and can hold its own against any jazz box. I especially like the neck, which has an excellent wide and flat feel. The tuners were upgraded to Sperzels locking tuners. The transparent orange finish is beautiful.

The guitar is in excellent condition with only some minor scratches that can’t be captured on camera. See pictures. The guitar has not seen much playing time. I am selling my guitars to clean out my inventory. Strings recently changed to fresh flatwounds. Hard-shell case is a bit worn but fully functional.

I ship within 12 hours through fedex and provide tracking promptly. I will give a 48 hour approval window for this guitar.
